Vatican News Dyzet vjet më parë, më 27 tetor 1986, në Asizi u zhvillua takimi ndërmjet përfaqësuesve të feve të botës, me ftesë të Shën Gjon Palit II, për t’u lutur për paqen. Pikërisht nga ky kujtim nis mesazhi i Dikasterit për Dialogun Ndërfetar, bërë publik sot, më 30 tetor, nënshkruar nga kardinali prefekt George Jacob Koovakad dhe sekretari, imzot Indunil Janakaratne Kodithuëakku Kankanamalage, me rastin e festës së Deepavali-t, e cila kremtohet më 8 nëntorin e ardhshëm. An article's time is the date its publisher gives, when that is plausible: not in the future, and not more than 180 minutes before Mosaic found the article. Otherwise it is when Mosaic first saw it. "Earliest report found by Mosaic" is the one with the earliest time; it does not prove that its outlet published first.
